WHAT A GRIND !
By: DAVID VENN on 22 September 2023I have used these 24 grit fibre discs for a while now and can fully recommend them for any use on mild steel, from weld prep to final grind. The 24 grit is obviously aggressive, but depending on your grinder technique, they can also leave a very acceptable finish for general clean-up and presentation. They are a staple in my workshop.

By: DAVID VENN on 7 July 2022I have been using the 24 grit discs for a while before reviewing them. I mainly use these discs to grind weld lines on mild steel and have been totally surprised by their ability to remove the steel and weld in double quick time without any aggressive grinding. The discs are very easy to control and seem to have a natural ability to feather to the base material effortlessly. They run cool and even when you think they are worn out, they keep keep grinding. Maybe not as quickly, but not much slower either! The cost versus the amount of grinding per disc is significantly cheaper than other types of grinding discs I have used in the past. I have been totally converted to these Ceramic Fibre Discs.
